I found a pattern for snowflakes at Attic24, one of my favorite crochet blogs. I really like the step-by-step instructions accompanied by photos. Also helpful is that the pattern tells you how to make two sizes of snowflakes, both pictured above.
![]() Moving from the midwest to the desert means no more winters with the fluffy white stuff, so I compensated by making my own personal snowfall. I found a pattern for snowflakes at Attic24, one of my favorite crochet blogs. I really like the step-by-step instructions accompanied by photos. Also helpful is that the pattern tells you how to make two sizes of snowflakes, both pictured above. A tree covered in snowflakes was not enough, so I also created a snowflake garland to hang on the wall. To attach the snowflakes, I chained six inches at a time, picked up a corner of the first snowflake, and repeated the process until I ran out of snowflakes. I love how it turned out!
