Want to make my pasta ruffle cowl for yourself? Now you can! I made a second cowl and wrote down the pattern this time. Usually I knit or crochet willy-nilly, with no regard for the probability that I will be asked for a pattern.
The hardest part of this pattern is casting on the 492 stitches. Once you reach the 25 knit rows, the cowl is over in a flash!
A note about needle length: I used size 13 circular needles, 36 inches long. If your yarn doesn't stretch, use shorter needles, as most of the rows have only 82 stitches.
Pasta yarn has sadly been discontinued, so I recommend you substitute a stretchy, lightweight yarn in its place. I'm looking into substitutes and will update this post when I find some.
A pdf version of the pattern card is below.
If you make this pattern, comment on this post! I'd love to see more of this cowl!
