This project was a fun quick way to use up leftover yarn from the yoga socks I recently made. There wasn't enough yarn for a second pair of socks, so it seemes like a great time to make up a pattern.
I used size 3 double pointed needles and cast on a ton of stitches in the round. I knit upwards until most of the yarn was gone, then cast off half the stitches and knit across the remaining stitches to create the flap.
Finishing:
On the bottom edge, I crocheted the seam together.
On the top edge and flap, I switched yarn and crocheted around. I made loops on both flap corners and the center of the flaps for the button holes.
The bag came out cute and does a great job of holding my cosmetics!
